Llyn Gwynant Campsite

Llyn Gwynant is the nature lovers’ campsite in the very heart of Snowdonia and is open all year. Lying below Snowdon in the most beautiful valley in Wales this is ideal for walking and adventure activities. You can walk up Snowdon directly from the site so Llyn Gwynant an ideal Snowdon base camp. Or simply enjoy natural beauty and quiet beside the lake or river, relaxing by your own camp fire. In late August and busy bank holidays the site is popular, with a family festival atmosphere, so come for peace and quiet at other times. No sound systems are allowed, recycling is required and respect for the land and for others is essential. We do not take bookings for families or individuals in tents, but operate on a first come first served basis where you choose your own place to pitch. There are some bookable bays for motorhomes and caravans and those wanting hook-ups.
